3 years ago, an aspiring woman agripreneur, Sunita visited the remote tribal districts of Odisha, famed for their pristine lands and a wide range of organically-grown natural herbs and spices.
Despite having a conducive agro-climatic condition and adopting traditional cultivation practices that are mostly organic by default, small and marginal farmers in Odisha have been subjected to unfair trade.
Realizing the plight of the farmers, Sunita decided to abandon the status quo and start the initiative. And that’s how “NiGi Organics” was born!
There were two major challenges in front of her. First, opening a stable market for these small scale individual farmers; second – empowering the tribal farmers and help them get a fair price for their produce.
Then there came two agri-enthusiasts, Ansuman and Sreyash, who shared the same vision. Together, they formed a formidable team lending support to the socio-economic development of Odisha’s tribal farmers by promoting the unique produce of the region.
With this objective, NiGi Organics has started its journey with an exclusive brand “Krushina” that is 100% pure, authentic & premium-quality, and is built upon trust, honesty and transparency.
